About UTV Sand Tires
You need tires that are built to get through the sand. Sand tires are very unique as you probably noticed from our inventory. They’re made for maximum floatation so you don’t sink into the sand. Mud tires are essentially the opposite, focusing on cleanout instead.
Many rear UTV sand tires have paddles for grip, and front UTV sand tires have a center rib or smooth tread. The paddles in the rear serve a valuable purpose, providing grip and stability to cut through loose terrain like sand, and even snow or silt.
Here are some UTV Sand Tires we like:
You can still go for all-terrain tires that are also marked for sand, but it’s obvious that tires made specifically for the sand will give you a smoother ride.
