Q & A

Is the rubber compound these tires are made from for hard or soft terrain? Mike asked on June 18, 2023

Hello, Sedona does not specify the consistency of the rubber compound used for the Coyote model tire, but it is designed as an all terrain tire so is most likely a medium compound tire. If you would like further assistance, please contact us at 877-256-1815 and one of our tire experts would be happy to help you select the correct tire model and size for your particular machine and application.

What is the load capacity Nate asked on January 25, 2023

Hello, it depends on what size you are looking at. For the current sizes we offer in this tire I listed out the load ratings below. I have also added them to our website so if you choose a Coyote tire size the load rating will then display above the "Add to Cart" section.

25x8-12 340 lb.
25x10-12 420 lb.
27x9-12 440 lb.
27x11-12 495 lb.
28x10R14 535 lb.

Are these dot rated? Larry Barton asked on December 26, 2022

Hello, no they are not. As of 2022 there is no regulation, classification, or guideline that would make or allow any ATV/UTV tire "street legal" or approved by NHTSA or DOT. NHTSA/DOT has notified tire manufacturers to remove the "DOT" stamp if present from ATV/UTV tires being manufactured moving forward. Tire dealers have also been told to stop advertising or describing any ATV/UTV tires they sell as DOT "approved", "rated", "compliant", etc.
