St.Antoine Gun Club - ATV Races 1984
I first opened All
Terrain Charley’s in 1984, and before that in 1983 I operated Fast Lane Cycle Accessories.
Fast Lane distributed ATV accessories to most of the larger motorcycle shops on
the east coast and Monster Performance Products was what I called these parts
at the time. I also published a motorcycle magazine for 3 years from 1983 to
1985, it was called ROLLING THUNDER –
Atlantic Canada’s Motorcycle Magazine.

ATV’s were just starting to get real popular and a few die
hard crazies and I would travel just about anywhere to race ATV’s.

Once we had breakfast, got into our race gear and
checked the bikes we were ready to race


You crossed this river and then up a steep slippery muddy hill. The fire dept. let us wash down our ATV’s.

Well we didn’t win the Honda ATC 200X but we did have one heck of a good time. After the race was over we went inside the clubhouse for some grub and liquid refreshments. A local cable company had set up cameras at 4 or 5 spots on the ATC race course, so it was great to sit back and watch the race played back on a big screen TV
