Rocky Road Riders ATV Association - 1st ATV Poker Rally
You make mistakes and hopefully you learn from them. Well we made our share on the first ATV Rally and we never did catch the bozo who ripped down some of our ATV trail direction markers.
For our first ATV Rally we had a turnout of 42. Machines from mini-trails to dirt bikes to 4X4 ATV’s. No matter what they showed up on everyone finished the 1˝hour rally.
“Then there was
mud”
Some of the ATV trails had just been hacked out of the woods the previous days before the ATV rally and most ended up in swamp areas. There were some short runs along the old train rail lines, these just usually took you to the start of a new cut out trail in the woods.
After pushing and dragging you and your friends ATV’s through some of these areas you started to think that you might not see the end and just focused on just the one small step before you. No one on the ATV rally had winches back then.
